The Competitions are now open for entries and will continue until 30th June.  To see the entries visit.......

Poetry Competition - ‘Life in Lockdown’
 - The entries can be anything from an amusing ditty or Limerick to a deep and meaningful Elegy.

Prose Competition – Short Story – ‘Lockdown’
 - A short Story with a connection to the present lockdown. Maximum length 2 A4 sides

Photographic Competition - ‘The garden in lockdown’
– Anything from a snapshot of a favorite flower to a graphic image of your own hide away space for meditation and reflection.

You can submit an entry by email to competition@southlakesu3a.org.uk   There is a limit of 1 entry per category.
Please include a title but not your name.  Entries are anonymous and only the organisers  know your email address (and will not disclose it).

There will be an opportunity to vote for one entry in each category between 1st and 12th July

After much debate around the sample we used in good faith, we have now been made aware the poem was actually written during this Covid19 outbreak. Thank you to all who helped unravel the mystery. See the original
